I thought that you have to get the windows .dlls to play these formats
with mplayer. I guess I'm kind of against this because the conference is
specifically about open source _and_ free software. 

This isn't the only nasty thing thing they're doing. They are also
planning on charging for the archives. It's so silly, they have Eben
Moglen (FSF lawyer) speaking about keeping ideas free, yet they don't
want to allow people access to any of these ideas.

Hopefully I can change their minds.
