I'm sure he did a lot of work.  I'll bet that not only did he replace
the "unintelligible and probably wrong" Boyer-Moore algorithm with an
"optimized" loop, but he also reinvented much of find(1) because
"xargs" is a stupid name.

Really, the temptation to pay one of the damn name-squatters for
0xdeadbeef.net and set up a Freshmeat parody is nearly overwhelming.
