Actually, you don't. You just fell victim, as did Sajjad, to my lack of
clarity.

What I meant was that list members refusing to acknowlege top-posted
emails would be a good way to not encourage top-posting.

I agree, but this is a job that only the moderators can do. I certainly (as
most of you know), advocate strong moderation of this list. However, list
members can pitch in by not helping those who break the rules.

Agreed. And repeat offenders will be ejected. Luckily, that is seldom
necessary.
