Been there done that, but it's not relevant to this.  It's about upgrade
conflicts in the 3.2 packages from maintainers pages on people.debian.org,
but those have now apparently been ironed out.  It did the dist-upgrade
just fine, but after doing so, it's broken.

What really torques me off is that I downgraded back to 3.1.4 and that was broken
too, in the same exact manner.  You'd think doing a complete removal of KDE and
all libs would be sufficient, but no :-p

Thank goodness there's more than one choice for the desktop under X, so that if
you break one, you can just install a different one and keep going  while you try to 
fix the broken one :-)
