I like our logo too (http://www.tlug.jp/tlug_template/mcquillin3.png) and 
would be happy to see it with a helmet and the rising sun and the shrine 
gate.  Together they are evocative of Japan and a combination of many 
different elements as is Linux itself a combination of many different 
contributions.  Linux is many different things to many different people.
