[tlug] I get a hiragana a now, still no input

Deleting that gconf file (Which wasn't there yesterday) helped. Now,
however, I get a hiragana a signifying that the input is activated, but
it still doesn't do anything in terms of inputting characters. So I'm
thinking shift-space has always been working but was misconfigured, and
the error probably lies somewhere else?

STARTING GJITEN:

im_module_init()
im_ja_register_type
im_module_create()
im_ja_class_init
im_ja_get_gconf_client()
gconf_client_get_default()
got gconf_client [134651568]
im_ja_init
setting input method: 0
candidate_window_hide
im_ja_new() [135741160]
status_window_update_location [type: 0]
im_module_create()
im_ja_init
setting input method: 0
candidate_window_hide
im_ja_new() [136273824]
im_ja_set_client_window [context:136273824, window:136270936]
im_module_create()
im_ja_init
setting input method: 0
candidate_window_hide
im_ja_new() [136280456]
im_ja_set_client_window [context:136280456, window:136280256]
im_ja_set_client_window [context:135741160, window:136285216]
im-ja got focus
status_window_update_location [type: 0]
status_window_update_location [type: 0]

SHIFT-SPACE: (A hiragana "a" now appears)

setting input method: 1
candidate_window_hide
creating status win
status_window_update_location [type: 0]
status_window_update_location [type: 0]

PRESSING SOME KEYS:

init_conversion_engine
im_ja_wnn_init
jcOpen2: Enter
jcOpen2: no env
jcOpen2: Wnn4
WNNENVRC FILE: /usr/lib/wnn/ja_JP/wnnenvrc
jcIsConnect: Enter
jcCreateBuffer: Enter
jcClear: Enter

So, still no function, but at least I get an a.
