I guess it's pretty trivial. As usual, the MPA is pouring millions of
dollars into a useless black hole and it further demonstrates their lack of
understanding of the standards they invent.

It's a bit like saying DeCSS was intended for piracy... You don't need DeCSS
to make a bitwise clone of a DVD, you only need it of you want to *view* the
copy (or the original for that matter).
