There was a question about mobile high speed connection.

J-Phone started with rollout of 3G mobile network with
up to 384k connection. Coverage starting from the cities
will be extended to most of the country next year. So if
you are not in a hurry, you may go for that.

I do not know how much they will then charge per packet.

The mobile phones for that will be compatible with the
global standard for UMTS, i.e. usable outside Japan also,
and there will be phones from a well known Scandinavian
manufacturer as well.
