Thanks for this info.  I'm on OCN/NTT's IP1 business plan (lots o yen for a static IP).  I guess I should use their NTP servers considering I'm paying so damn much.  Gotta get any service out of them I can.

Japan has by far the cheapest broadband access in the world... unless you want a static.  Then... ouch!

I've a friend in Portland, Oregon paying $65/month for 1.5Mbs-down/312Kbs-up ADSL with 6 IP addrs.  SIX!  Oh well, my upstream is MUCH better!  What am I saying?  This is the land we're you have to pay your land lord an extra one or two months rent every two years just to say, "Thanks.  Thanks for letting me pay you rent money."

Sorry about that.  I have no idea what got me ranting on that.
