Just as a note (this is one of my pet peeves), there is no such thing as
Linux 8.0 (or 9.0 for that matter). If you use Red Hat 8.0, you are running
Linux 2.4.19.

Linux is nothing but a kernel. It does nothing without all the tools and
environment provided by a distribution.
