In that case you're barking up the wrong tree, IMNSHO.

If you keep at Red Hat, you'll be learning how RED HAT is supposed to work.

Now, if you want to learn how LINUX is supposed to work then you should try
Gentoo, LFS, Slackware or maybe Debian.
