WRT your "slick new" comment, note JB's earlier remark on Red Hat x.0 distros.

I have never liked upgrade installs, myself. I prefer to back up /etc and
blow the system away, leaving my /home partition untouched. (You *do* create
separate partitions, right? Do not let the Red Hat default of one huge / fool
you, that is not The Way.)
