However, the point of the QND Guide to GPG is
'What you need to do to get GPG going Right Now." You'll notice
I don't even say "What you need to know," but just "What you need to
do." The GPG manual is very good and very accessible, and the
point of the QND is to give a jump start to somebody who has
a pressing need to encrypt or sign something, and let them read
the docs on their own for the rest.

If I wind up with a 10-page mini-manual, I will have failed.

The fact that since I posted it the QND to GPG, several people have
been motivated to use it, have succeeded, and have
gone on to have a very good debate about RFC compliance for MUAs
using GPG, tells me that I've done a good job of achieving my goal
on this.

There will be tweaks to be made here and there, but the guide
is in close to final form, except for also making an HTML version.
For the finer points, I will let people go on to read the
(truly) fine manual for themselves.

But perhaps a little tips-n-tricks section can be compiled, either as
a QND GPG adjunct, or perhaps as a TLUG page. There is a great deal
of accumulated and often specialized knowledge in TLUG, and
perhaps a series of tips-n-tricks pages might be a good way to help
catalog some of that.

Since I have my hands full right now, with both preparing
to leave Japan and with work on various things (including the
QND GPG), I won't be working on TLUG tips-n-tricks stuff, so I
don't want to volunteer anybody. However, if anybody feels like
doing it, it could be worthwhile. TLUG hasn't added much to
the website in a very long time.
