I agree.  Reccently, I have found that those who post a question do not
supply any error message, not show what he/she has done or even say
thank you after he/she got answered.

I would add one more thing. TLUG is mainly _discussion_ list.  This is
not a help list for newbies, and this is clearly stated in the webpage.
 There are many newbie lists by many distros.
