I didn't really mean to mock the idea of not using the command
line--I was a happy Mac user for several years before switching
to Linux in 1998.

The "mind-blowing" part was more that the RedHat install and
KDE/Gnome have progressed to the point that you can really
install and use Linux now without ever going to the CLI...
without even knowing what it is!

All ranting about GUI vs. CLI aside, that's a pretty amazing
achievement.
