Maybe we are thinking about this all wrong. Its not newbie questions
as much as it is a cultural differences that causes the problems.
We need to divide along different lines:

TLUG PC #Politically correct

A place where those who are willing to be nice no matter how obtuse the
questions are. This is where you should sign up if you are thin skinned
at can't handle having people tell you when they honestly think you are
being an idiot.

TLUG (COH|BOFHG|SDMR) #Cruft Old Hackers|Bastard Operators From Hell Gathering|
							 #Scary Devil Monastery Refugees

The TLUG we all know and love. A place where you are as likely to have your
head bitten off as not. An environment many of us feel confortable with it
seems. we are happy to help but on our terms. We feel no obligation to be
anything but honest. (those without an asbestos wardrobe need not apply)
