I passed LPI101, 102, 201, Linux+, RHCE(I am not a cert hunter. I am
just in linux educational business).

And there's NDA thing and I don't know how much I can answer.

1. Linux+ is very basic. According to their home page,

  The Linux+ certification measures vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and
  skills for an individual with at least 6 months practical
  experience. The target market for Linux+ certification is any
  individual interested in demonstrating fundamental Linux knowledge
  and skills.

2. RHCE is operated by RedHat and it measures Redhat linux specific
knowledge. It is the only certification which specifies the
distribution version number you pass(Mine is for Redhat7.1).

And they say;

  The RHCE Certificate is granted upon passing the RHCE Exam, a
  performance-based test on live equipment, that measures actual
  competencies at server system administration, setup of network
  services, and basic server security.

The test starts at 9 a.m. and you can continue until 5 p.m.
And I was wrong. It now costs 90,000yen.

3. LPI is vendor-neutral and you can volunteer for updating the
certification. So there is a good chance of becoming better one.

If you have more than 1 year of linux system administration
experience, all you need is "LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell"
from O'Reilly to pass level one(LPI101 and 102).

For LPI201 and 202, you need extensive knowledge about major servers.
I don't know how much knowlegde is enough to pass the exam.
