hmm, there is no benefit in seperating /usr and /usr/X11R6 
at least not when using systems that use packagemanagment
and in general these numbers need to be higher to accomodate
a typical linux install.

/tmp should not be on / either.
i link it to /var/root-tmp though and make /var a little bigger.
(i used to link it to /var/tmp but i don't want /var/tmp get emptied like /tmp)

the same way i link /home to /usr/local/home because it is not easy to
estimate where i need more space.

on systems used by multiple users this is not necessarily a good
idea though.
