My MO is SCSI.  And it just happened to me too (although df did report
me at zero space, which is a little more info than "just happening").

Hey, maybe we can get the ASPCA after MSFT.  The only neutered disk I
ever had was done by the installation of the first public release of
WinNT (after 5 betas with no problems except the box being useless for
real work while Windows was running).
