Re: Is my DNS setup "logical"?



There is nothing wrong with this.  Actually it would make things faster since
DNS queries to the outside will be cached by the server and internal reverse
lookups will be dealt with.

A Pentium 300 is more than enough for a mid-sized office LAN.

After it is setup, make all local machines use this server as the Primary DNS
and configure the server to first query itself and then outside.
