RE: good firewalls

Cisco PIX 515/520/525, depending on your needs. excellent boxes, excellent
support, great performance, completely embedded system.

downside is cost, but for a big datacenter I wouldn't buy anything else.

Subject: good firewalls

Hi all,

What are most admins using in terms of firewalls at datacenters? I'm
interested in a boxed solution, ie little or no moving parts, patchable
via the network, fast boot time, configurable over the net, linux
friendly to configure and browse logfiles, rules etc, with good support
at a reasonable price. I could throw in a couple more requirements but
for the moment that's good enough to start...

Thanks,

Tom.
