Not for the purposes of compiling glibc. Report a bug to them without
"known good" kernel headers (which the most recent devel probably
doesn't qualify) and the glibc people will just laugh in your face.

B0Ti> And there is tex/xdvi which I can't get to work,

I still don't understand this. Here's what I have:

ii tetex-base 1.0.2+20000804 basic teTeX library files
ii tetex-bin 1.0.7+20000807 teTeX binary files
ii tetex-doc 1.0.2+20000804 teTeX documentation
ii tetex-extra 1.0.2+20000804 extra teTeX library files
ii tetex-lib 1.0.7+20000807 shared libkpathsea for teTeX
ii xdvik-ja 22.15-j1.03-3 X-window TeX previewer using vflib2 for Japa

B0Ti> And what do I need for these:
B0Ti> Xlib: extension "SHAPE" missing on display ":1.0".
B0Ti> Xlib: extension "XVideo" missing on display ":1.0".

Log from XFree86 would be nice: /var/log/XFree86.0.log.
