SJT> What monitors do you have configured in XF86Config?

I have 2 'Monitor' section there:

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "My Monitor"
    VendorName "Unknown"
    ModelName "Unknown"
    HorizSync 31.5 - 37.9
    VertRefresh 50-70
[default video modes omitted]
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "HPUX Monitor"
    VendorName "HP"
    ModelName "P910"
    HorizSync 29-107
    VertRefresh 50-150
[default video modes omitted]
EndSection

Do I have to have another Screen section for the external monitor?
When I'm adding one for SVGA driver, the first section gets ignored...

If I boot with the external monitor connected, and then start X, I
have strange illumination on both screens; pushing LCD/CRT button
several times refreshes them, and then they behave exactly as if I had
booted without connecting the external monitor and connected it later.

Thank you for the reply. Looks like I have to play with this stuff a
bit more. Or read FM? Can you suggest a good one?
