OK, so what's helixcode?

(Nothing I've seen from Gnome so far interests me in the slightest.
Someday, probably not to distant future, I'll want to do CORBA-related
things and Gnome looks like the way to go.  For personal use, though,
the rapidly deteriorating user interface makes me sad.

But when someone who walks the walk says it's good, it's worth looking
again....)
