That shouldn't be a problem as you have a running system. The device
cant be /dev/scd4, may be your "book" says /dev/sdc4", no?  Anyway, as
you have only a cdrom and now the zip disk attached to the scsi
interface, the zip disk should be /dev/sda, isn't it. If it is the
second device it will be /dev/sdb etc...  Dont know why, it seems zip
needs to be mounted on partition 4: so try

mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip

change that vfat to whatever filesystem you have on the zip disk.
(the mount point --- in the above example /mnt/zip---should exist)
