You might consider SWISH-E (http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/SWISH-E/).

It's not exactly what you need (it's for indexing HTML and text
documents) but maybe you can use it for your purpose by putting your
data inside <META> HTML tags -- just an idea.

CGI script examples are also there.
