The Linux kernel will do, I'm sure.  Just

	     rm -f /sbin/init; ln -s /bin/ash /sbin/init

(DON'T try this at home.  Make your work machine useless instead. :-)

OK, Austin, if you're so smart, at the next TLUG Nomikai you get to
chug a pitcher (I'll pay, but only if I'm there OR somebody gets a
video or an MPEG).  Then you start reciting CONFIG_* symbols for a
>= 2.2 kernel patchlevel of your choice.

The rebuild is easy (Ulrike already did that).  Configuration is
hard....
